30 Ene Ken-Foods Present for the 39th Season of SIGEP the International Trade Fair for the Artisan Ice Cream, Confectionary and Bakery Industries
SIGEP is one of the major international trade fairs exclusively for professionals in the ice cream, artisan confectionary and bakery industries associated with the coffee industry. The latest SIGEP show took place in Rimini, Italy, from 20th to 24th January 2018.
As leading industry professionals Ken-Foods could hardly have missed this tent pole event.
Ken-Foods was there, occupying a modern, functional space at Stand 052 in Hall B5, where a number of activities were held, such as:
– Live demonstrations of our products’ capabilities, run by our Italian chef Danilo Angè
– Tastings of our various product lines
– The launch of our new star product, Ken 35%
– Saltes presentations
– Meetings with customers, suppliers, partners and visitors interested in our brand
Our stand was unquestionably the site of a great deal of activity. Streams of people interested in us and our products dropped in. We’d like to thank them for their visit and we hope to see them all again soon.
SIGEP is a major trade fair organized by IEG Italian Exhibition Group SpA. Yet again this year SIGEP combined a huge (and recently enlarged) exhibit area with an interesting programme of events. A unique chance to make international professional contacts. In addition, thanks to a project kicked off five years ago called the Top Buyer from Five Continents, exhibitors and foreign buyers could schedule encounters to take place at the show.
SIGEP has consolidated its position as the perfect display venue where brands like Ken-Foods can tell a professional audience all about the variety and quality of our products, our manufacturing processes and our innovation in artisan confectionary and ice cream. The various competitions, technical demonstrations, seminars and conferences that form part of SIGEP all do their part to make the fair great.
The fair is an important place where companies, operators, media, professional associations representing all industries and industry opinion leaders can meet, communicate and share.
The Show’s Success
This year the show is expected to beat all previous attendance and participation records, even the excellent figures from 2016. SIGEP had 208,472 operators present; that’s 3.5% more than at the last fair. Furthermore, the number of foreign visitors shot up 29% to 41,827 visitors from 170 countries.
SIGEP 2016 had 1,250 participating companies on its 118,000 m2 of exhibit space, which was 5,000 m2 more than in years before. For the 2018 fair the space has been enlarged yet again by another 11,000 m2. In addition, more than 800 events directly linked with the fair were held. Seven hundred and three accredited Italian and foreign journalists and bloggers attended, and over 170 million contacts were made.
